STRADA 30-Day Challenge Fall 2018, Day 1 #stradaeasel

Plein Air Painting along a path on the shore of Moberly Lake, British Colombia.   From inside my Jeep it was looking to be quite nice out, but after my initial sketch and setting up, the blustery wind came off the lake and it wasn’t long before my finger tips were turning white.  Pushing this from my my mind, I worked through to where I was pretty happy with the results.  I cleaned my brushes, packed up to get back in the warmth of my Jeep, heater set to high and got my fingers happy once again.  I’ll be packing my Hot Pockets from now on!

I am happy to be back for the 6th consecutive  STRADA 30 Day Challenge, and excited to paint every day this September.
